The Toy Story

With Laziness as one of the attributes that i am growing good enuf to define myself in this IT industry, i dint know how to spend my weekend in a way apart from watching a movie at PVR or visiting a beach.. It was when one of my X-colleagues called me up asking me whats my plan.. when am i gonna visit Hyd (if any)...

With a reply that I had dates with in, I heard a response like "Why not shop some toys?" and for which i exclaimed, "What...???!!!"... Well, he was asking me to shop some toys for his new boy ...My X-teammate has been blessed with a baby boy and he asks ME to go get some toys for the kid... The reason mentioned by him, being hilarious.. I had to go find something for the brand new kiddo... You the know the reason..
Guys, isnt it? if not, u can make a guess.. and even if that doesnt work, the reason is no significant to eat up a line here :).. hehe


Ye, all i could think of was to shop at landmark where they might have got a nice collection as i could think about. Pulled in one of my school frens to accompany me to see what i can get for the
new boy in town. To my surprise i could see nothing more than a range of soft toys for the kid was nothing older than 3 months. While I was having a look at all the stuff, i could recollect a person to
whom i should gift another toy.. it was another kid but much older.. very older kid :)

Now it is time for making choices.. i could see who lot collection of soft toys that included teddy-bears, chweet- bunnies, cute-elephants and bla bla bla.. but what caught my attention was TIGERR

(the disney character) which was pretty small in size for the new boy to hold on and play around.. nothing more than an hour it took to

arrive at it as a nice choice.. Saw the DONKEY as well but the choice was

neither approved by my friend nor the boy's dad. But in fact, that was cute.. really!!

Now time came for the choice for the older kid.. Its a default thing that we may opt for a Teddy-bear as we know it a widely accepted choice but this little kid was nothing better than a rabbit if u look at.. tiny and young and quite playful as a bunny we can think of. Not sure what she would like, i thought to ring up some one to make choice

and then i playfully called the kid itself to find what could be a choice that i can go with .. And there starts the interesting part where i had to list the items that caught my attention.. a teddy, a bunny, a

manny, a dino, an octoups, a BLUE star fish.. a big bad

dog :D.. Blue being the fav color of the kid had to influence my choice. Energy flew in and smiles all around to hear the list of toys... Voice started yelling.. "Lets go with a Teddy... no no no.. Bunny.... no no no Manny.... no no no Is the Dog cute?.. naaa.. lets try for a bird.." I thought it would never end but then the voice on call asked for a teddy or a bunny.. Then i thought 'The older we grow, the younger we become at times". Jus to be the one in the crowd, I had to pull a bunny that was dirty brown and was more like 14" tall.. Hope that works for the kid to play at home..

Ridiculous part of the story had two things,the former - the tiger that was nothing more than a 10" and the bunny that was close to something above 14" were priced more or less on the same though they were of the same brand; the later - every time i was eying at a diff toy i was missing myself being a kid at home and was silently wishing if i had someone to gift me toys like these.. not jus one.. loads of them..

With a whole lot of kids around at the store, the place was really cheerful with cries and laughs around .. Bill pay was something boring and the queue was really longer that something really unusual to me caught my attention.. This time its a Chocolate and that was a White Chocolate from the Swiss from Lyndt. Could not stop making the purchase though it was priced as 199 INR (only).. Ate it all with a few bites shared with my friend along with 7 pc hot chicken wings at KFC..

Wasn't a weird Sunday but was all together a diff one. Felt nice for the weekend and here we go sharing the fun on the blog.
